Good afternoon, Dave.

I believe that this is something that should be sent via the Social Network site, but having never used it, I am sending it to you for your discretion.

It is with extremely heavy heart, and complete sadness, that I must report that my beautiful best friend, Jean, wife of almost 60 years; companion, lover, and wonderful mother to our 3 children; passed away last night, August 16th, from complications of Vascular Dementia.

Her passing was not unexpected, after her 7-year battle with memory loss, so it was not as traumatic as it could have been.  She passed away in her sleep, simply and quietly, and Kim and I and Rob were here to hold her hand, and see her go.

She didn't know a lot of Association members, due to her illness, and inability to get out and mingle, but she was the sweetest person I ever knew, and strangers were just friends she hadn't met yet.  She never uttered an unkind word about anyone.

Please let me know if you can send this out to the Association members.  If not, I will pick those folks that knew her, and send it to them.
