Whispering Waters Governors for 2021

Salutations Whispering Waters Owners; You will have a new slate of Governors for the new WW 2021 Board of Governors as of the end of the WW Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to start at 7:00 pm EST Thursday 28 Jan 2021. There will be two new Governors, marked with a 'P', replacing two Governors retiring at the end of the 2020 term, coinciding with the AGM, meaning that the majority are returning, so governor continuity is being substantially maintained. The Florida Condominium Act says that an election of governors is not required if the number of prospective governors is less than or equal to the number of available positions. Having previously solicited volunteers for Governors from the WW ownership a number of times, we now have been successful to obtain ten people for ten positions. You can confirm this from the table below, showing the complete list of prospective governors that the supply and demand numbers match exactly. Therefore, no election is required unless an owner is now dissatisfied with the proposed slate and volunteers to contest one of the proposed positions, thus leading to a run-off vote. *If you now decide to contest a position, then by 6:00 p.m. Friday 8 Jan 2021 **please **communicate your desire to the WW Executive*: David Wilson <david.wilson.256(a)gmail.com> ; John Williams <vermontjw(a)outlook.com> ; Emily Cox <efreels(a)aol.com> ; & Bob Bennett <bjbenn62(a)hotmail.com> . *Upon receipt of your message, and you qualify, then a run-off vote will be arranged. ROOFING: Crew will be here tomorrow, hope to finish end of this week. SCOPING: Crew here all this week, hope to finish this week or Monday at the latest. ELEVATOR PITS: Schedule sent earlier today, working week of 11th-15th, may be some down time on elevators, plan ahead. RESERVE STUDY: Association Reserves scheduling for later this month. Elevator Maintenance schedule

Elevator pit maintenance projected schedule is as follows: Monday the 11th we will complete pits 1 and 2, Tuesday the 12th we will complete pits 3 and 4, Wednesday the 13th we will complete pits 5 and 6, Thursday the 14th we will complete pits 7 and 8. We're going to use Friday the 15th as a backup date in case we run into any unforeseen issues. We will be arriving each day between 8 and 9 am. If you need the elevator the day it is being worked on please reschedule your appointment. If you cannot, let me know "now" and I will try to reschedule vendor. Roofing schedule

Resume parking in all garages from now on, "lay up" work now complete. Balance of work is gutters & cap sheet (top sheet). Gutters will continue and be done Thursday or Friday. Cap sheet installation (final layer) on all 3 buildings should then take approx. 2 weeks depending upon weather. Burt 617 592 3368
