Duke Energy reacted to calls from Whispering Waters that their transformer was leaking fluids on our property.  A new, taller transformer with a smaller footprint was installed on a new concrete pad, and new shrubbery compatible the rest of the campus completed the project.  The leaked fluids were cleaned up.

A number of WW volunteers assisted ranging from notification, barricading parking spots to permit trucks to position close by, help for owners displaced during the loss of electricity, and so on.

Now that everyone is practiced up, they get to do it all over again on Tuesday July 13 when Duke Energy will be replacing the second matching transformer powering the south side of the campus, located beside B4 and in front of B5.
